Solar Panel Roof Mount Kit

The 27-386 PV Mount Kit can be used with any sized aluminum framed
solar panel to provide secure mounting to RVs, boats and many flat surface
applications. The PV Mount Kit will support the solar panel at the optimum
height above the surface to enable airflow from underneath, ensuring the
solar panel functions as efficiently as possible.

Solar panel mounts are an ideal way to affix solar panels to the roof or deck
of motor homes and boats. The mounts can be safely bonded to the surface
eliminating the need to drill holes. The mounts also act as a wind deflector
and maintain the correct air gap between the solar panel and the roof top / deck.

Installation Instructions:

1. You will need to drill a clearance hole in the brackets at the appropriate
recessed ports. Place the panel mounts on a flat surface, then position the
panels onto the mounts. Drill a pilot hole through the mount directly into
the panel frame.

When drilling the holes in the solar panel frame to attach the bracket try
and drill the hole more towards the center of the panel frame to avoid
any damage to the solar panel glass and cells.

2. Attach the brackets to the solar panel frame using self-tapping stainless
steel or galvanized screws.

3. Mark the mounting location for the panels on the surface to which the
panels will be mounted. The Neuton Power PV Mount Kit can be used
with any sized aluminum framed solar panel to provide secure mounting
to RVs, boats and many flat surface applications. The PV Mount Kit will
support the solar panel at the optimum height above the surface to enable

4. After applying appropriate bonding agent to your brackets install them to your
pre-marked position on your roof. Ensure you have the panel orientated
so the wires/cables coming out the back are on the correct side.

5. Following appropriate bonding agent installation instructions that come
with the; lightly press down over the top of each bracket to ensure bonding
agent makes a good contact with all surfaces.

6. Refer to the bonding agents instructions and allow the required time for
bonding agent to completely dry before connecting the wires/cables.

HELPFUL TIP: To help reduce the wires flapping on the roof while you
are travelling put some bonding agent on the wires in various places and
adhere them to the roof. While you are waiting for the bonding agent to dry,

install your PV Charge Controller in the permanent position you have
previously chosen.

It is recommended the PV Charge Controller should be installed in a dry,
sheltered location away from sources of high temperature and Moisture.
